About Me
I am a Registered Social Worker, with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Calgary. I truly believe that we are all doing our best, yet each of us can find ourselves in need of support during different times in our lives. This may arise from challenges in our relationships, life experiences, job loss, past traumas, or future uncertainties. I work with adults, children, and families using an integrated trauma-informed care to therapy recognizing that there is no one size fits all. I have training and experience in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
I work with many children and adults who have experienced trauma, loss, and attachment disruptions including children who have been admitted to an inpatient mental health unit and transitioned home. I work with prospective adoptive parents as they begin their journey toward growing their family through adoption. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to discuss your worries and strategize new ways to cope and manage your individual goals. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to ask questions or learn more about my approach.
